Riyan Parag and Sanju Samson smashed half-centuries against GT in Jaipur.
In match No. 24 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Rajasthan Royals (RR) middle-order batters Riyan Parag and skipper Sanju Samson displayed a phenomenal performance with bat as they smashed Gujarat Titans (GT) bowlers all over the park at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on April 10.
The duo of Parag and Samson bailed hosts out of the danger situation after they lost two early wickets inside the powerplay. Both players added a 130-run partnership in just 78 balls and helped the Royals reach 196/3 in 20 overs.
Parag smashed 76 runs on 48 deliveries including three boundaries and four sixes during his stay at the crease. While skipper Samson remained unbeaten as he hammered 68 runs off 38 balls, including seven fours and two maximums, the Royals went past the 190-run mark.
Following their partnership, social media went jubilant and heaped praise on the RR batters.
