'HEADache for bowlers' Twitter bows down to Travis Head as he smashes 39-ball hundred against RCB

Travis Head smashed 102 off 41 deliveries against RCB in match No. 30 of the IPL 2024.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) explosive opener Travis Head unleashed his beast mode against struggling Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in match No. 30 at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the M. Chinnaswmay stadium in Bengaluru on April 15.

After being sent to bat first, Hyderabad openers Abhishek Sharma and Head got off to a flier as they smashed 76 runs in the first six overs. The duo added a 108-run partnership before RCB pacer Reece Topley took the wicket of dangerous Abhishek on 34 runs in the eighth over.

The explosive opener, Head, smashed a 20-ball half-century against a poor Bengaluru bowling line-up. He didn’t stop there, as he hammered his maiden IPL century in just 39 balls in the 12th over. Soon after his century, Head departed after smashing 102 runs off 41 deliveries, including nine boundaries and eight sixes, with a mind-blowing strike rate of 248.78.

Following Head’s explosive knock against RCB, cricketing fraternity went jubilant lauding the SRH opener.
