List of all trade deals before IPL 2027 retention deadline
All ten franchises will submit their list of retained and released players ahead of the IPL 2027 auction.
The Indian Premier League is the most anticipated T20 league on the cricket calendar, and even though the next season is still far away, it remains a major talking point among fans. The next season will be the 20th edition, which started in 2008.
IPL 2027 mini-auction will take place on December 16, 2026. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) initially set a November 15 deadline for all teams to announce their retained and released players. However, they later extended the deadline to November 17.
All the franchises have been actively working on their permutations and combinations ahead of the auction. Although the teams have yet to announce their retentions, they are using the trade window to address some shortcomings.
The biggest trade of the IPL 2027 window saw Rishabh Pant return to his former team, Delhi Capitals, while Kuldeep Yadav moved to the Lucknow Super Giants in exchange.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have been the most active team during the trade window. They traded Zeeshan Ansari to Delhi Capitals and, in return, brought back their former player, T Natarajan. Later, they traded Liam Livingstone and Jack Edwards to CSK to acquire two key bowlers, Khaleel Ahmed and Nathan Ellis.
