'Tut Gya RCB ka record,' Twitter exalts after SRH surpass highest total in IPL vs MI in Hyderabad

SRH hammered 277/3 runs in 20 overs in the IPL 2024 match against MI in Hyderabad. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) itched their name in the record books as they shattered Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (now known as Royal Challengers Bengaluru) 13-year-long record of smashing the highest team total in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Hyderabad hammered 277/3 runs in 20 overs against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2024 game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on March 27.

Earlier, RCB went bonkers against Pune Warriors in IPL 2023 match. Legendary batter Chris Gayle hammered 175 runs with 17 sixes as RCB registered 263 in 20 overs. While the West Indian left-hander undeniably demolished the opposition, AB de Villiers didn’t hold anything back either and hammered 31 off his eight balls.
