The England Cricket Team are all set to host Pakistan in a three-match Test series. The bilateral series begins on the 19th August and will conclude after the three Tests on the 13th September. With three Tests scheduled across Headingley, Lord’s and Edgbaston, the series promises plenty of grit and accomplishments for their followers.
The ENG vs PAK Test series is particularly significant for England, with Joe Root returning as Test captain following Ben Stokes’ retirement from the longest format of the game. England will return to red-ball action after losing their last series at home against New Zealand, adding pressure to their campaign against Pakistan.
Pakistan will look to use this to their advantage and will look to challenge England under their home conditions and strengthen their position in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.
England and Pakistan have played each other in 92 Test matches, with England having the upper hand with 30 wins, while Pakistan have managed to secure victories on 23 occasions. 39 of these matches have ended in a draw.
