Twitter reacts to Sarfaraz Khan being overlooked yet again as India name test squad for WI tour

Sarfaraz Khan has been scoring heavily in last three seasons in Ranji Trophy.
Mumbai’s sensation Sarfaraz Khan has been once again overlooked by Indian national selectors. Sarfaraz Khan once again failed to place himself among the 16-member squad that will fly to West Indies next month. Fans have clearly shown their disappointment over Sarfaraz Khan’s exclusion once again from the test team.
India have announced a 16-member squad for the West Indies tour and have dropped their experienced number three Cheteshwar Pujara due to non-performance. Selectors have picked Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal as Pujara’s replacements. India will go with a new number 3 batter against West Indies in two test match series. The West Indies tour would have been a great opportunity for Sarfaraz Khan, who is continuously scoring in the Indian domestic circuit.
Mumbai’s 25-year-old batter Sarfaraz Khan has been in amazing form with red-ball cricket and has staggering numbers to back his selection in the Indian test team yet he has been snubbed every time for the selection. Fans have questioned the selection of Ruturaj Gaikwad over Sarfaraz Khan and have said that selectors have given IPL performance more weightage than First-class numbers. Fans have also blamed selectors for not having a proper outline ready for the future of Indian cricket.
Here's how twitter reacted to Sarafaraz Khan's snub:
Sarfaraz Khan has great numbers in first-class cricket. He has been scoring heavily in the last two-three seasons in Ranji Trophy. Even in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 his average is 92.66 and have scored 556 runs in 9 innings for Mumbai. In the 2021-22 season, his average crossed 100 and he scored 982 runs in 9 innings with an outstanding 122.75 average. Before this in 2019-20, He played with unmatchable numbers and scored 928 runs in 9 innings at an average of 154 for Mumbai. He has scored 13 centuries in 54 first-class innings.
