Twitter goes crazy as Prabhsimran Singh brings up his maiden century in the IPL
Punjab Kings' opener Prabhsimran Singh took 60 deliveries to score his century against the Delhi Capitals.
Punjab’s Prabhsimran Singh has smashed the 4th century of the IPL 2023. Taking on Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings opener Prabhsimran Singh has smashed Delhi bowlers all around the park to reach his first-ever IPL century. He scored 103 runs in 65 balls with 10 fours and 6 sixes against Capitals bowlers. Prabhsimran counterattack strategy against Delhi’s pace bowlers provided Punjab a platform to reach a decent total. Prabhsimran Singh took 61 balls to reach his century. With this inning, he has become the star of the day in IPL. Social media has also got involved in praising the man from Punjab.
Fans have claimed that Prabhsimran has batted like a one-man army against Delhi Capitals bowlers. Apart from him and Sam Curran (20) their top 6 could only score in single digits. Prabhsimran Singh has been impressive with the bat this season. He has started well along with Punjab captain Shikhar Dhawan. Against Delhi, he started slowly and his score was 27 runs in 31 balls. Later on, he picked up the pace of the inning and smashed 75 runs in his next 30. Fans have also praised Prabhsimran’s acceleration in the end.
