ICC U19 World Cup 2024: India squad, schedule, timings, when and where to watch

India are the defending champions of the U19 World Cup.
ICC U19 World Cup will begin on January 19th, 2024. South Africa won the tournament’s hosting rights and replaced Sri Lanka, who had been scheduled to host it previously.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) suspended Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 owing to political meddling, allowing South Africa to host the U19 World Cup for the third time in history.
The tournament will last for 23 days and will feature 48 matches between 16 teams. India are the most successful team in tournament history, having won five editions of the U19 World Cup. India will also compete as the defending champions and hot favorites at the forthcoming big youth event.

India are placed in group A alongside Bangladesh, Ireland and United States of America. On the other hand, group B comprises last edition’s runners-up England, the hosts South Africa, Scotland and West Indies.
Group C includes three-time champions Australia, Namibia, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, whereas group D consists of Afghanistan, Nepal, New Zealand and two-time winners Pakistan.
