Fakhar Zaman, Agha Salman, and Usama Mir were chosen in their stead.

The incident occurred during Shaheen Afridi's seventh over. Afridi bowled a bouncer on the fourth delivery, and Litton Das pulled it viciously. The ball came close to Usama Mir, who was stationed near mid-wicket. Litton timed the shot well, but Mir sliced his little finger trying to reach for it.
He looked in agonising pain as blood could be seen coming from his finger. Eventually, the Pakistani spinner went off the field as a precautionary measure.
