Vaibhav Sooryavanshi became the youngest Indian to play at the international level on his debut.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made history when he played his first international game for Indian Cricket Team. He featured in the second T20I against England at Old Trafford in Manchester. After some consistent performances at different levels, Sooryavanshi received his maiden cap for India.

He became the youngest Indian to play an international game, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar. Though he couldn’t play a big innings and scored 14 off 10, but his two towering sixes indicated what he can do with the bat.

India are now gearing up to take on England in the third T20I on Tuesday at Trent Bridge; Sooryavanshi will be a key weapon at the top. However, India suffered an injury scare as the 15-year-old was hit by a ball during his net session on the eve of the third game.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has become a household name in Indian cricket. His achievements at this young age have made him a cricket sensation, and everyone is talking about him. The left-hander has established himself as one of the hardest hitters of the cricket ball.

That is where India want him to stay fit. A video is circulating on the social media platforms, where the 15-year-old is seen training hard for the next game. Renowned journalist Rohit Juglan posted the video, which showed Sooryavanshi getting hit near his ribs while taking the throw-down.

As per the report, India’s throw-down specialist, Raghu Dwivedi, bowled a delivery at a speed around 153 km/h, which struck Suryavanshi near the abdomen, and the batter was seen in pain. After the hit, he sat down for a while and later was seen rubbing that area.

It has certainly made the Indian fans worried, who want to see the 15-year-old smash sixes in the upcoming game. Though it was a worrisome moment, but Sooryavanshi rejoined the practice session, indicating that he was fine.

Notably, India are trailing by 0-1, and they need to win the upcoming game to level the series. The ongoing UK tour hasn’t gone well for India so far. With new captain Shreyas Iyer, India now have four winless matches.

Hence, there will be pressure on the Men in Blue. They have not been able to adapt to the situation. The bowling has also looked wayward at times, and India need a special performance from their top order to set the tone.
