Rajasthan clashed with Mumbai Indians in a rain-affected game in Guwahati at the start of IPL 2026. The match was shortened to 11 overs per side. Sooryavanshi and Jaiswal added 80 runs in the first five overs, leaving MI bowlers helpless.

Vaibhav added 39 runs off just 14 deliveries with five sixes. RR posted 150/3 and MI succumbed to the pressure, losing by 27 runs.
