Vaibhav Suryavanshi takes U19 Asia Cup 2025 by storm, smashes 56-ball ton against UAE in tournament opener

Vaibhav Suryavanshi slammed 171 off 92 balls in the game against UAE in the U19 Asia Cup 2025.

The Indian U19 Cricket Team player Vaibhav Suryavanshi set the stage on fire during the game against the UAE U19 Cricket in the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Friday, December 14.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi opened the innings for India and made sure that he started the tournament on a high note. The left-hander, who is going through a purple patch, played yet another blinder and sent a message that the future of Indian cricket is in safe hands. 

Vaibhav Suryavanshi took the aggressive route right from the start and hit the bowlers all over the park. He paved his way to the 30-ball fifty and then after that ensured that he converted his half-century into a ton. The left-hander got the milestone in just 56 balls and put the opposition under pressure.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi then continued hammering the bowlers and brought up a magnificent 150. He was all set for a double ton, however, his stay at the crease was cut short by Uddish Suri in the 33rd over of the Indian innings.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi eventually got out for 171 off 92 balls. His innings was laced with 14 sixes and 9 fours, batting with a strike rate of 180. He took his team past 250 runs on the board with ease, stitching a 212-run partnership with Aaron George (69) for the second wicket.

Suryavanshi has been in red hot form since the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where he made his debut for Rajasthan Royals (RR). Following that he has slammed truckloads of runs for India U19, scoring centuries in Australia and England.

In the recent Emerging Asia Cup as well, he oozed his class and hit a ton. With the way he is going about his business, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he gets in the Indian T20 setup soon.
