Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored an unbeaten 108 runs against Maharashtra.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi cannot stop breaking records. The 14-year-old has broken another, this time playing for his state, Bihar, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Vaibhav smashed an unbeaten 108 runs off just 61 balls at a phenomenal strike-rate of 177.04.
Suryavanshi was having a poor run with the bat in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, but as he entered the next round, he unlocked the fiery version to punish the Maharashtra bowlers. The teenager guided his team to a total of 176/3.

Suryavanshi looked in a different mood today. He came prepared to put on a show at the Eden Gardens against Maharashtra. Bihar had a slow start in the first innings as they lost their opener Bipin Saurabh in the first over.
Maharashtra managed to inflict a second blow in the power play, reducing Bihar to 31/2. However, these early dismissals did not deter Vaibhav Suryavanshi from taking on the opposition bowlers, and he continued his shot-making.

The Rajasthan Royals opener took charge and carried his team to a respectable total as he kept putting the ball in the stands in the last few overs. With 7 sixes and 7 fours in his 108*, Suryavanshi became the youngest player to score a century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
