Round 4 of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 took place on Wednesday, December 31.

Round 4 of India’s domestic one-day tournament, Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025-26, took place on Wednesday, December 31, witnessing a total of 16 games in the Elite group and three encounters in the Plate group.

Mumbai won their fourth consecutive game, crushing Goa by 87 runs. Maharashtra crushed Uttarakhand by 129 runs, after piling up a mammoth total of 331/7 in the first innings. Jharhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Baroda, Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, and Saurashtra are some other teams that bagged victories in their respective games.

In the Plate group, Bihar won their fourth consecutive encounter, crushing Nagaland by eight wickets. With 16 points, they grab the top spot in the Plate group points table.

A few players also rocked the field with their brilliant performance in the fourth round. For instance, Jharkhand’s Utkarsh Singh (123*) hammered an unbeaten century against Tamil Nadu, driving his team to victory by nine wickets.

Mumbai batter Sarfaraz Khan shattered an impeccable 75-ball 157 runs against Goa, playing a crucial role in the team’s victory.

Goa’s Abhinav Tejrana slammed a ton against Mumbai in a losing cause. Maharashtra captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was another batter who grabbed the spotlight with his 124 runs against Uttarakhand.

After the conclusion of round 4, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh steal the top spot in Group A and Group B, respectively. On the other hand, Mumbai and Odisha clinch the peak position in Group C and Group D, respectively.
