Eight teams have booked their spot for the quarter finals of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025-26.

The quarter-final line-up of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 season has been officially unveiled as the group stage phase of the competition draws to a close. On Thursday, January 8, following an intense round of eight matches across Ahmedabad, Saurashtra, Jaipur, Bengaluru and Rajkot, the final eight teams confirmed their places in the knockout stage.

With the league stage now wrapped up, all eyes are on the two-day quarter-final saga scheduled to take place on January 12 and January 13 in Bengaluru, promising high-quality domestic cricket and several mouth-watering contests.

As per the schedule, Group C runners-up Mumbai will lock horns with Group A toppers and defending champions Karnataka, while Group B’s unbeaten side Uttar Pradesh will face Group D runners-up Saurashtra. The remaining two quarter-finals will see Delhi take on Vidarbha and Punjab clash with Madhya Pradesh.

The first two quarter-final matches will be played on Monday, January 12, while last two are scheduled on Tuesday, January 13, with Bengaluru set to host the knockout action. All the four games will begin at 9:00 AM IST.

Among all the fixtures, the clash between Karnataka and Mumbai stands out as the marquee encounter. Karnataka, who lifted the title in the previous edition in January last year, will enter as defending champions, while Mumbai’s rich domestic legacy and depth make them a dangerous opponent in pressure games.
