[Watch] 3D star Vijay Shankar takes a relay catch at boundary line to put Riyan Parag's spectacular show to end

Riyan Parag smashed three fours and five sixes during his stay at the crease.

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) hosted Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 24th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. This match is being played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on April 10, 2024. RR are unbeaten in this ongoing tournament, while GT have won only two games out of the five games they have played this far.

Shubman Gill, GT captain won the toss and chose to bowl first, as the match was delayed due to some rain. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the first wicket to fall for 24 runs in 19 balls, while Jos Buttler followed soon for 8 runs.

At 42/2, Riyan Parag and captain Sanju Samson got together and first rebuilt the innings for Rajasthan Royals, and then decimated the GT bowling unit. Sanju Samson made 68* in just 38 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes, while Parag made 76 in 48 balls with 3 fours and 5 sixes to his name.

The duo added 130 runs for the third wicket as Rajasthan Royals, thanks to their partnership, posted 196/3 in 20 overs. Even Shimron Hetmyer made 13* with a six and a four.

Vijay Shankar stuns with a brilliant catch at the boundary to get rid of dangerous Riyan Parag

After a stunning knock of 76 off 48 deliveries, Riyan Parag eventually made it to the dugout against the Gujarat Titans courtesy of a wonderful catch on the boundary line by Vijay Shankar. Riyan attempted to go over the long off to Mohit Sharma and nearly cleared the rope.

Vijay Shankar timed his jump to grasp the ball and juggled it with accuracy, aware that his momentum was taking over the ropes. He finished the catch without making a mistake, and while the TV umpire checked the catch from different angles, he gave the marching orders to Riyan to return to the hut.
