Drunk or ill? Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli spotted seeking help to walk from passerby | Watch video

Vinod Kambli played 17 tests and 104 ODIs for India from 1991 to 2000.
Vinod Kambli, once considered to be one of the most talented batters to come out of India, has fallen non hard times. In a shocking recent video, Kambli was seen seeking help from passerby to get off his bike and get back to his house.
Vinod Kambli, along with his childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar, was one of the pupils of Ramakant Achrekar and was once considered to be more talented than Tendulkar. The left-handed was an aggressive batter and was brutal against the best of spinners.
He made his India debut in 1991 in Sharjah and went on to play 104 ODIs and 17 tests for India. He was the first Indian to score consecutive double centuries in tests, a feat he achieved against Zimbabwe and England in 1993. He scored 1084 runs in tests and was primed to have a long career for India with four centuries.
However, in 1994, the West Indies toured India and uncovered a fatal flaw in his technique against short bowling at a high pace. He failed in the test series against the West Indies’ pace attack and his once-promising test career ended before he turned 25 years old.
Kambli fared well in ODIs, playing 104 games and scoring 2477 runs at an average of 32.59. He played in the 1992 and 1996 World Cups for India and scored a century in the 1996 World Cup against Zimbabwe. His last match for India came in 2000.
Drunk Vinod Kambli seen struggling to walk; passersby help him out
Recently, Vinod Kambli’s frightening video has surfaced on social media, in which, he is seen fighting to keep on his feet and asking passerby for assistance. It is still unclear whether he has health issues or drunk.
He can be seen leaning on a motorcycle and requesting others to assist him in getting from one location to another, as someone recorded the incident on camera.
Kambli has previously dealt with health issues, including a heart attack he suffered while driving through Mumbai in 2013. A year ago, the former batter had two blocked arteries fixed with angioplasty.
The video shook fans and followers alike with multiple users taking to social media to express their shock and wish the former batter strength in his fight against his struggles.
