Virat Kohli is celebrating his 37th birthday on November 5, 2025.
Indian Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli turned 37 years old on Wednesday, November 5, and the Indian cricket fraternity showered blessings on him on social media. On his birthday, the former Indian captain became one of the trending topics on X (formerly), with numerous fans wishing him on the micro-blogging platform.
Kohli has witnessed a roller-coaster ride in his career since the start of this year. Earlier in March, he was part of the Indian Cricket Team that won ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Later in May, he announced his retirement from test cricket following a series of poor performances in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25, giving a big shock to the entire cricket fraternity.
In June, his team Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won the Indian Premier League (IPL) title for the first time, with Kohli finishing as the leading run-scorer for his side. Following a seven-month gap from the national team, he featured in the recently-concluded ODI series against Australia last month.
With two ducks in back-to-back games, he achieved unwanted record of registering two consecutive ducks in ODI cricket for the first time in his career. However, he made a magnificent comeback with his unbeaten half-century in the third game, helping India to seal a nine-wicket victory.
Cricket fraternity wishes Virat Kohli on his birthday

As Kohli turned 37 years old, many active and former cricketers wished him on social media platforms like Instagram and X. Topics like ‘Happy Birthday King Kohli’, ‘GOAT,’ and ‘Runmachine’ were some of the trending topics on the micro-blogging platforms.

Meanwhile, the right-handed batsman will be next seen in the national jersey in the ODI series against South Africa at home. The three-match series will commence on November 30 with the opening game in Ranchi. After retirement from T20I and tests, Kohli’s next focus is to represent the Men in Blue in ICC Cricket World Cup 2027.
