Virat Kohli has scored 51 centuries in ODI cricket.

The final group stage match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 between India and New Zealand is underway in Dubai on Sunday, March 2.

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and elected to bowl first. Both teams made one change in their playing XI. New Zealand brought in Daryl Mitchell for Devon Conway, while India made an interesting decision to go with four spinners, with Varun Chakaravarthy replacing Harshit Rana.

Both teams have already secured a place in the semi-finals, but the winners of today’s will face Australia, while the losers will take on South Africa in the semi-finals.

The game also marks a personal milestone for one of India’s greatest batsmen, Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli became the seventh Indian and overall 22nd cricketer overall to play 300 ODI cricket matches. He also holds the record for scoring most ODI centuries (51) and is currently third on the all-time highest ODI run-scorers list behind Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara.

Sachin Tendulkar’s tally of 463 ODIs is the highest for any Indian. MS Dhoni and Rahul Dravid are placed second and third with 347 and 340 matches respectively. Mohammad Azharuddin, Sourav Ganguly, and Yuvraj Singh are also part of this elite list.
