Virat Kohli got dismissed in an unlucky manner against CSK in the home game.

Royal Challengers Bangalore opener Virat Kohli has been in tremendous form in this IPL 2023. Kohli has scored 3 fifties in 4 innings he played this season. Kohli had an important assignment against Chennai Super Kings at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. CSK gave RCB 228 runs to chase. Virat Kohli was unlucky and got out cheaply. CSK debutant Aakash Singh dragged him on in the first over. Kohli started nicely with a boundary in the second ball. Later in the fourth ball of the first over, Virat Kohli was back in the dugout.

Former RCB Captain Virat Kohli tried to make a good room and came down the track to hit another boundary in the over, but he got an under edge and after deflecting from Kohli’s pad it hit the stumps.  Virat Kohli was out on just 6 runs. RCB got off to a poor start while chasing CSK’s mammoth 228 runs. In a rare failure of Virat, Akash Singh had a moment of joy by dismissing one of the world’s best batters. Kohli has scored 220 runs in 5 innings in this IPL season.

Chennai Super Kings batters were in some mood today. There were galore of sixes smashed by CSK batters. CSK smashed a total of 17 sixes in the inning. Devon Conway and Shivam Dube rattled RCB bowlers in the first inning. Conway in his 83 runs innings hit 6 sixes while Shivam Dube in his 52 runs smashed 5 sixes. Vyshak Vijayakumar and Wayne Parnell conceded a total of 9 sixes between them. Vyshak gave 62 runs in his 4 overs, while Wayne Parnell conceded 48 runs in his 4 overs.
