As reported by Cricbuzz over the past few days, Kohli left the team and flew to Mumbai from Guwahati, where India had been scheduled to play their first practice game against England. Unfortunately, that game was canceled due to rain.
Had it occurred, Kohli would not have played in the second warm-up game against the Netherlands at Thiruvananthapuram’s Greenfield International Stadium. However, bad weather forced the game to be called off.
