Virat Kohli top scored for RCB with 83 runs against KKR on Friday.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) opener Virat Kohli gifted Kolkata knight Riders’ (KKR) finisher Rinku Singh a bat after KKR thrashed the hosts on Friday, March 29.

The stylish batter Rinku has emerged as one of the best finishers for his franchise, KKR and also for the Indian Cricket Team. The 2023 edition marked a breakthrough season for the batter, as he amassed 474 runs in 14 games with a stunning average of 59.25.

This IPL 2023 performance also helped him make his debut for Indian Cricket Team in white-ball cricket. Since making his debut, Rinku has cemented his place by performing consistently for Men in Blue in white-ball cricket.

After KKR thrashed RCB by seven wickets, Virat Kohli and Rinku Singh met in the dressing room and exchanged handshakes to congratulate each other. In the latest video shared on RCB’s social handle ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), head coach Andy Flower was seen giving a dressing speech to the Bengaluru players after the loss against Knight Riders.

In the same video, Kohli was seen gifting his bat to Rinku as a heartwarming gesture, and then the two hugged each other.
