Watch: Virat Kohli & Glenn Maxwell spotted playing 'Rock, Paper & Scissors' during PBKS vs RCB game
Virat Kohli made 59, while Faf du Plessis made 84 as RCB posted 174/4 batting first.
Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell were caught on cameras playing a game of 'Rock, Paper & Scissors' while waiting for a DRS decision during the ongoing IPL 2023 match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) on April 20, 2023 at the IS Bindra PCA stadium in Mohali. ‘
Virat Kohli led the RCB team in place of Faf du Plessis, who was replaced by an impact player for the game. Sam Curran also served as the captain of PBKS because Shikhar Dhawan hasn't fully recovered from injury. Curran correctly predicted the coin toss and chose to bowl first.
While RCB remained the same, PBKS brought in Liam Livingstone and Nathan Ellis for Kagiso Rabada. RCB scored 137 runs in 16.1 overs thanks to a strong opening partnership between Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis. While Du Plessis smashed 84 in 56 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes, Kohli was dismissed for 59 in 47 deliveries. The fact that RCB could only achieve 174/4 in 20 overs was a huge achievement.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj starred in the first four dismissals of the Punjab Kings as he first got Atharva Taide for 4 and Liam Livingstone for 2, both being dismissed LBW. Then Wanindu Hasaranga got rid of a dangerous Matthew Short. The Siraj ran Harpreet Singh Bhatia out.
Meanwhile, in the 11th over, Harshal Patel got a full delivery to tail into PBKS keeper-batter Jitesh Sharma who was hit flush on the pads. The huge appeal led to the umpire giving it out, but Jitesh opted for DRS.
The replays showed that while no bat was involved, the ball tracking showed that the ball was missing the leg stump and Jitesh was given not out.
While this was happening, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell were seen playing 'Rock, Paper & Scissors' on camera.
