Virat Kohli has slammed eight centuries in the IPL.

Virat Kohli is one of the few players who have been part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) since the inaugural edition in 2008. Kohli joined the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team in the 2008 season and has been part of the side to date. Kohli also led RCB from 2013 to 2021 season.

Remarkably, he has participated in all 18 seasons of the tournament, showing his incredible level of fitness. He has featured in 265 matches for RCB across 18 seasons. The right-handed batsman has been a run machine in the IPL and has several batting records to his name. Virat Kohli is also the leading run-scorer in the tournament with over 8600 runs.

Virat Kohli also holds the record for most runs in a single edition of the tournament. The former RCB skipper slammed 973 runs in the 2016 edition. He also won the orange cap in the 2016 season. He replicated the triumph in IPL 2023 to win the Orange Cap for the second time in his IPL career.

Since IPL 2023, Virat Kohli has been in impeccable form. He scored 600-plus runs for three consecutive seasons as he added another feat to his name in IPL 2025. KL Rahul and Chris Gayle are the only other batters to have slammed more than 600 runs in three IPL seasons in a row.

Virat Kohli also leads the charts when it comes to half-centuries and centuries in the IPL. The 36-year-old has scored eight centuries and 63 half-centuries in the tournament so far, more than any other batsman. On that note, let’s take a look at the list of all IPL centuries of Virat Kohli.
