Virat Kohli has undertaken a left-arm sleeve project comprising multiple tattoos.
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is known for his distinctive personality, whether on or off the field. Alongside his achievements with the Indian cricket team and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, his collection of tattoos has been an intriguing part of his public image.
The several designs on his arm reflect different stages of his life. The former Indian skipper has now added another piece to his growing collection, once again attracting global attention.
This new one is also interesting because it appears to be part of a large tattoo project currently being created on his left arm.
Some photographs of his new design have circulated online; however, the exact personal meaning behind every element has not been publicly revealed by the Indian cricketer. It has now given rise to considerable speculation about what Kohli’s latest piece represents.

The latest tattoo Virat Kohli has got is located on the upper part of his left arm, amidst his existing tattoos. The tattoo images show a circular, wave-like pattern that resembles the ripples spreading across the water’s surface after a drop falls.
The design is part of Kohli’s ongoing left-arm sleeve project. Tattoo artist Allan F. Gois shared photos of the same process. He revealed that the work has already involved multiple sessions and is still not completed.
Ripples are commonly associated with the idea that a single action can create effects that spread far beyond its starting point. However, Virat himself has not confirmed the real symbolic meaning behind this tattoo.
Some reports have revealed that the new ripple is not an isolated piece. Earlier in 2026, Kohli began a project to bring together the tattoos on his left arm. This project includes Shiva-inspired armbands, as well as mandala, lotus, and peony designs that adorn the upper arm.
The tattoo described is part of the broader artwork scheme that describes Kohli’s evolution, depth and personal transformations. Interestingly, it can be considered that the sleeve was deliberately left unfinished, allowing space for future stages of Kohli’s life.
