IND vs SA: [Watch] Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma turn back time, bat together in nets to prepare for South Africa ODIs

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are part of India’s squad for ODI series against South Africa.
Indian Cricket Team’s senior batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have begun their preparations for the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa as they were seen batting together in the nets ahead of the first game in Ranchi. Both the batters put in the hard yards to prepare for the series, which will be their second after announcing their retirements from tests and T20Is.
The first IND vs SA ODI will take place on November 30 at JSCA International Cricket Stadium in Ranchi. The next two games will be played on December 3 and 6 in Raipur and Visakhapatnam respectively.
India will be captained by KL Rahul as captain Shubman Gill has been ruled out of the series due to a neck injury he sustained in the first test against South Africa. Moreover, vice-captain Shreyas Iyer is also set to miss the campaign due to a spleen injury.

With first IND vs SA ODI around the corner, a video is going viral on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where Kohli and Rohit are seen batting in the Ranchi nets together. In the clip, Kohli was seen batting, with Sharma standing at the non-striker’s end.
Both the former Indian captains last played in the ODI series against Australia last month. Sharma was star for India, winning the Player of the Series award. With one century and one fifty, he hammered 202 runs in the series. In the final ODI, he scored an unbeaten century (121*) to propel the team to victory by nine wickets and grabbed the Player of the Match award.
On the other hand, Kohli bagged two back-to-back ducks in the opening two games, grabbing consecutive ducks in ODIs for the first time in his career. However, he bounced back with an unbeaten half-century (74*) in the third game. Both Rohit and Kohli etched an unbeaten match-winning partnership of 168 runs for the second wicket to help the team avoid a clean sweep against the hosts.
