Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are preparing for IND vs NZ ODI series.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma shared a funny moment during India’s practice session ahead of the first ODI against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland. The two senior batters engaged in playful banter after net bowlers asked them for a cricket bat, leaving Rohit laughing.

India will begin their three-match ODI series against New Zealand on November 4. The series will be important for the team as they continues its preparations for the 2027 ODI World Cup.

Kohli and Rohit will be among the key players to watch during the series. Both have retired from Test and T20I cricket and now represent India only in the ODI format. Their performances in New Zealand will be closely followed as they look to strengthen their position for the upcoming World Cup.

Meanwhile, India have also added fast bowler Auqib Nabi to their squad for the first three ODIs. He was initially selected for the fourth and fifth matches but was brought into the squad earlier after Prasidh Krishna was ruled out.
