Virat Kohli scored 30 centuries in his test career.

Indian batting legend Virat Kohli said goodbye to test cricket on May 12. The right-handed batsman represented the national team for 14 years in the red-ball format. Kohli made his test debut in June 2011 during the series against the West Indies. He played his last test match against Australia in January 2025.

Kohli played 123 tests for India during his career. He slammed 9,230 runs in 210 innings at an average of 46.85. Kohli finished his career as the fourth-highest run-scorer for the Indian Cricket Team in tests after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Sunil Gavaskar. He also slammed 31 half-centuries and 30 centuries in his test career.

Kohli has registered seven double centuries in the longest format – more than any other Indian player. His best innings was an unbeaten 254 against South Africa in October 2019. If we analyze Kohli’s test tons against different teams, he has hammered the most centuries (9) against Australia. He scored five centuries each against England and Sri Lanka.

Out of Kohli’s 30 centuries, 14 came at home, while 16 came in overseas nations. He registered 12 centuries in SENA countries. Also, among foreign countries, he scored the most number of seven centuries in Australia. On that note, let’s look at Kohli’s all test centuries.
