Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan were involved in another witty Twitter banter.

Former India batsman Wasim Jaffer and former England captain Michael Vaughan engaged in another hilarious banter on Twitter on August 11, Sunday. While Vaughan brought up India’s recent ODI series loss in Sri Lanka, Jaffer reminded the Englishman of England’s dismal test record in Australia over the past dozen years.

In recent years, Jaffer and Vaughan have regularly tried to troll each other on Twitter, more so when the other’s team loses a series.

On Sunday, Jaffer hosted a Q&A session with his followers on Twitter, asking them to shoot questions. Vaughan took this opportunity to poke some fun and asked Jaffer about India’s 2-0 loss in the three-ODI series against Sri Lanka in Colombo earlier this month.

Vaughan tweeted, “Hi Wasim .. What was the recent ODI series result in Sri Lanka? I have been away and missed it .. Hope all is well”

Displaying his wits, Jaffer came up with a hilarious reply to Vaughan’s query. Jaffer pointed out to Vaughan that India won as many ODIs in this series as England have won tests in Australia in the past 12 years.

Jaffer replied, “|’ll put it in Ashes terms for you Michael. Ind won as many games in that series as the Tests Eng have won in Aus in last 12 years.”

England have not won a single test match in Australia on their last three trips.
