SRH vs LSG: Watch - Aiden Markram's excellent sprint catch to send back Kyle Mayers

SRH captain Aiden Markram took an excellent sprint catch to send back LSG opener Kyle Mayers.

On May 13, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) engaged in combat at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad, in the 58th game of the IPL 2023. In the IPL 16 points standings, LSG are in fifth place and SRH are in ninth.

When it was the visitors LSG’s chance to chase the target of 183 set by SRH, they had a huge shock during the powerplay when Aiden Markram's swift reflex action caused the opening combination between Kyle Mayers and Quinton de Kock to fall apart.

In order to bowl the fourth over, the captain brought Glenn Phillips into the attack, and he provided SRH with the first breakthrough. Kyle Mayers was dismissed thanks to an amazing catch by SRH captain Aiden Markram on the second delivery of the fourth over for a score of 2.

Markram sprinted sideways as Mayer’s shit was moving away from him at mid-on position. He had completed the catch by diving to his right.

Heinrich Klaasen, Anmolpreet Singh and Abdul Samad power SRH to 182/6

Yudhvir Singh dismissed Abhishek Sharma for 7 runs. Rahul Tripathi contributed later on, scoring 20 runs off of 13 deliveries, but, like in most games, the flamboyant hitter was unable to keep up with the beginning.

Anmolpreet Singh, the club's opener, got the team off to a great start, but sadly, the spinner Amit Mishra defeated him when he was batting on 36 runs off 27 deliveries.

Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Markram then tried to stabilize the SRH innings, with the captain getting 28 and looking good.

Heinrich Klaasen's 47 in 29 balls and Abdul Samad's 37*, though, helped SRH score 182/6 in 20 overs.
