Watch, Amit Mishra's aggressive celebration after dismissing Anmolpreet Singh

Lucknow Super Giants' leggie Amit Mishra took a catch off his own bowling to send back Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Anmolpreet Singh.

Lucknow Super Giants experienced leg spinner Amit Mishra is having a superb IPL 2023 season. He has been bowling magnificently this season and has picked up 7 wickets in 7 games. Against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Amit Mishra picked up a wicket but he failed to contain the Sunrisers batters. Mishra conceded 40 runs in his 4 overs spell. He sent Hyderabad's Anmolpreet Singh back into the hut with his beautifully crafted leg spin delivery. Mishra was also a little animated after picking up Anmolpreet's wicket. Anmolpreet Singh was on 36 in 27 balls with 7 fours scored.

In his second over, Amit Mishra bowled a brilliant leg spin delivery which turned away from Anmolpreet. Anmolpreet, while guiding it towards the leg side could not guess the flight correctly. He got an outside edge and spoon the ball towards Amit Mishra. Mishra took an easy catch and gave a send-off to Anmolpreet. Mishra after taking his catch gazed back at Anmolpreet and threw the ball on the wicket animatedly. Anmolpreet was going strong in his innings and he was building a decent partnership with captain Aiden Markram.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had scored 182 runs with the help of their middle order. Heinrich Klassen (47) and Abdul Samad (37). They both added 58 runs in 6 overs to give Lucknow 183 runs target. Lucknow Super Giants started the chase well and going strong against Hyderabad. Captain Krunal Pandya bowled magnificently and picked up 2 wickets in his 4 overs. Lucknow need a win to keep their hopes of playoffs alive in the IPL 2023.
