Haris Rauf was involved in a fight with a fan who asked for a picture with him.

Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf has landed himself in huge trouble by getting involved in a fight with a fan on a street. On Tuesday, a video of Rauf went viral on social media, in which the lanky seamer can be seen threatening a fan to physically hit him!

It is not yet clear whether this incident took place in the USA, where Pakistan played their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 matches, or in the UK, where Rauf along with five other teammates have reportedly flown to have a mini-vacation. Nonetheless, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) could take some action against Rauf if he is found guilty as per the evidence in this video.

Rauf was apparently taking a walk towards his hotel room with his wife when he had an ugly altercation with a fan. The video starts with Rauf suddenly getting enraged and trying to find some stones to hit at the fan, who could be heard saying that he was only asking for a photo.

It seems that perhaps Rauf denied a picture to the fan who then tried to troll Rauf based on his performance and Pakistan’s exit in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Rauf can be heard saying to the fan “Yeh tera India nahi hai (This is not your India)”. To this, the fan replied, “I am from Pakistan.” Rauf was seen shouting about the manners of the fan, who then decided to walk away from the scene to avoid more chaos.

Even though Rauf picked up seven wickets in four games, his failure to defend 12 runs off the last three balls against the USA – he conceded 11 and then Pakistan then lost in the Super Over – has been criticised heavily.
