Earlier, BCCI secretary Jay Shah also stated last week that Bumrah is physically fit and getting better and might be playing in the Ireland series. India will be travelling to Ireland after the five-match T20 series against West Indies. The BCCI's medical team also felt great about Bumrah’s improvement in rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. Bumrah underwent surgery in March which made him miss the Indian Premier League, WTC Final.
The Indian team are eagerly waiting for the return of their key players. Along with Jasprit Bumrah, wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, and KL Rahul are also going through rehabilitation. Indian team management will be hoping for all these names to be fit as soon as possible. Asia Cup is just one month away, the tournament will start on 31st August, while Team India will start their campaign against Pakistan on 2nd September.
