India's tour of West Indies 2023
Watch: WI wicket-keeper Joshua Da Silva's mother gets emotional while meeting Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli became the first cricketer to score a hundred in career's 500th International game.
The second test between India and the West Indies in Port of Spain was the 500th appearance for former Indian captain Virat Kohli at the international level. With this landmark game, he joined an elite list of cricketers who are in the category of the legends of the game. And to make it more special, Virat Kohli slammed his 76th international century and became the only player to score a hundred in career's 500th international game.
He made 121 runs with 11 boundaries and was run out by Alzarri Joseph. But before getting out, he made sure that Team India ended the first innings in a strong position. With his century, he also equaled Don Bradman's tally of 29 test centuries. It was a knock for the ages, as it was his first test century in almost five years outside of Asia.

India registered a challenging total of 438 runs in the first innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal (57), Rohit Sharma (80), Ravindra Jadeja (61) and Ravi Ashwin (56) also scored half-centuries in the first innings. Though the test series has gone one-sided so far, fans have enjoyed all the stump-mic talks from the game. Most of them enjoyed the chat between Virat Kohli and WI keeper Joshua Da Silva.
During a chat, West Indies wicket-keeper Joshua told Virat Kohli that his mother is a big fan of him and has come to watch him bat. He was caught saying, "My mom called me and told me she’s coming to watch the match for Virat Kohli, I couldn’t believe it." Later, after the end of Day 2, his mother met the former Indian captain near the team bus and hugged him. She was emotional after meeting him.
In a chat with journalist Vimal Kumar, she said, "Kohli is one of the best batsmen in our lifetime. So it is an honour for me to meet him and my son to be on the same field as him." There is no doubt that Virat Kohli is one of the biggest stars in modern-day cricket and has a huge fan base across the world. Meanwhile, the West Indies have responded pretty well so far and ended the second day at 86/1.
