Gujarat Titans' leg-spinner, Rashid Khan is now leading the Purple cap race in the IPL 2023.

Gujarat Titans leg-spinner Rashid Khan is in top form in the IPL 2023. Rashid Khan is among the bowlers who are fighting for the Purple Cap along with the championship. Rashid Khan has once again troubled the batters with magnificent bowling. Against Rajasthan, Rashid troubled every single batter. Especially Ravichandran Ashwin. He castled Ashwin with his brilliant leg-spin delivery. Rashid Khan with his 3 wickets spell has now earned the purple cap on his head. Rashid is leading the top wicket-takers chart with 18 wickets in 10 games this season.

Rashid Khan troubled R Ashwin

In the 8th over of Rajasthan’s innings, Rashid Khan kept beating Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin came in to bat at Number 5 for RR. They were trying to use Ashwin as someone who could anchor the inning after losing early wickets. Ashwin struggled massively against Rashid. Ashwin was struggling to connect Rashid’s outside the off-stump delivery. He was deceived by Rashid’s pace and length often in that over. Finally, in the last ball of the over, Rashid bowled one on the off-stump which went straight hitting the top of the off-stump. Ashwin was completely deceived by turn and length. Ashwin could only score 2 runs in 6 balls.
