The semi-final 2 of the tournament, between Rohit Sharma’s Indian team and Jos Buttler’s defending champions England, is being played on Thursday at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
There are some playing conditions and rules about the match being affected by rain that the fans need to know.

The India vs England semi-final had a scheduled start time of 10:30 AM local time, which is 8:00 PM IST. If the start of the match is delayed or the game gets interrupted by rain, even then the ICC has given an additional 250 minutes to continue with a full 20-over-per-side match.
That is the cut-off time for a full game is 2:40 PM local time, which is 12:10 AM IST on June 28. It means that the officials will start cutting down overs only if the match doesn’t start at 12:10 AM IST.
