Harmanpreet (53) and Smriti Mandhana (58) scored half-centuries to play a crucial role in batting, while Kashvee Gautam added 43 runs. However, it wasn’t enough to dominate the hosts, who chased it down within 39 overs with half-centuries by skipper Alyssa Healy (50) and Beth Mooney (76).
India were short of their captain in the second innings, as she could not take the field due to injury. Kaur battled with issues while batting in the first innings and received on-field treatment after the 38th over.
She continued to bat before getting dismissed for 53 in the 44th over. In her absence, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana took the reins of the leadership in the 2nd innings.

They also added that she was under the observation of the BCCI medical team.
