The Indian Cricket Team are in Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series, which is set to kickstart from July 23. The other two fixtures will be played on July 25 and 26. All the matches of the series will be played in the Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe.
Shreyas Iyer and Co. had a rough start to their T20I calendar after the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 with consecutive losses against Ireland and England. They lost six of the last seven matches they played, with one game getting abandoned due to rain.
However, the team starts afresh for this series. India have rested many of their T20I regulars, like Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel, to accommodate new players. Yash Thakur, Mayank Yadav, Ashok Sharma, Harsh Dubey and Prabhsimran Singh got chances in the squad.
Rinku Singh, who missed the UK tour, has returned to the T20I side. The squad selection indicates the aim to developing a young pace brigade. The fans will be excited to see the new players and the IPL sensations in action, and for the same, the timings of the 1st T20I have been announced.
