India will lock horns with England in a three-match ODI series starting July 14.
The Men in Blue are scheduled to face England in a white-ball series, comprising five T20Is followed by three ODIs. India enter this series after a crushing defeat against Ireland.
The T20I series will be played from July 1st to 11th, followed by the 50-over contest between the two cricketing giants. The three ODIs will be played on July 14, 16 and 19, in Birmingham, Cardiff and London, respectively.
Shubman Gill and Co. head into the series after a dominating win against Afghanistan at home. They won the previous series 3-0, with the skipper being the Player of the Series for his 238 runs.
Meanwhile, England come into the series having played only one ODI series this year against Sri Lanka in January. They will resume their 50-over assignment after a long gap.

Indian ODI team to depart for England in batches – Reports
According to a Times of India report, the Indian team will arrive in England on July 12, ahead of the opening encounter in Birmingham on July 14.
Moreover, the Indian Captain Shubman Gill and wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul are most likely to reach England sooner to start their preparations for the big series.
On the other hand, around seven players from the ODI squad are also part of the T20I team; therefore, they will already be in the United Kingdom. They will wrap up their T20 assignment on July 11 after the 5th T20I and join the ODI squad.
India are facing injury woes, as Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the tour. Moreover, Virat Kohli’s return remains uncertain.
However, Jasprit Bumrah will return to the ODI team in this series after nearly three years. He played his last ODI match on November 19, 2023.
