Pakistan Test team’s long wait for another SENA victory continues.

The Pakistan Cricket Team, touring England, lost the first Test match by an innings and 103 runs. They were completely outplayed by the hosts. Batting first, Pakistan managed only 171 runs, and in reply, the England team piled up 409 runs, ending up with a huge lead of 238 runs. In the second innings, Pakistan were bowled out for only 135 runs, giving the hosts an easy win.

Over the years, the Pakistan have been really disappointing their fans and have also lost many important Test matches at home. However, their overseas performances are even worse, and they always get exposed in front of quality teams.

While teams like Bangladesh are winning historic Test matches in Australia, the Babar Azam-led side continue to disappoint their supporters. SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) Test series have always been tough for Asian teams to conquer. However, over the years, the Pakistan have even failed to register a single win in a long time.

The last time Pakistan managed to win a Test match in SENA was way back in 2018, when they defeated England at Lord’s, London. They won the match by nine wickets, and Mohammad Abbas was awarded the Player of the Match for his match figures of 8/64. It has been eight years since their last Test match win in a SENA country, which is concerning as they continue to extend the streak.

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, who has over 3,600 Test runs and has contributed to many wins for the team in overseas conditions, hadn’t even made his debut when the Babar Azam-led side last won a Test match in a SENA country. Since then, Pant has registered 10 wins in SENA, while Pakistan are still waiting for their next one.

The condition of the Pakistan Test continues to worsen, and the team, which was once known for its fiery bowling lineup, is now even lacking in bowling spirit, while their batting also fails at crucial moments.

How many SENA Test wins does Rishabh Pant have in his Test career?

Rishabh Pant has been part of 10 Test wins in SENA countries during his Test career.
