India A are all set to start their Tri-Nation A series campaign against Sri Lanka A on June 09, 2026, at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. India A will be led by Tilak Varma with Ruturaj Gaikwad as his deputy.
The Tri-Nation A series will feature three teams – India A, Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A and all the matches were played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla. The series will be played in a double round-robin format, which means each team plays the other two sides twice before the top two qualify for the finals.
However, all eyes will be on Indian star youngster Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who is expected to play in this series. The 15-year-old had an exceptional performance in the IPL 2026 as he won both the Orange Cap and the MVP award with 776 runs at a strike rate of 237.00.
