After the addition of two new teams, Pakistan Super League 2026 is set to observe a battle among eight teams for the title. Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi are the two new teams in PSL 2026.
Lahore Qalandar, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans are the other six teams. The tournament will commence on March 26 and conclude with the final on May 3.
The PSL 2026 was set to take place across six venues. However, due to the ongoing conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the tournament will be played in only two cities, Karachi and Lahore. A total of 44 matches will be played in the tournament. Both cities will host 22 games each.
Moreover, the PSL 2026 games will also be played behind closed doors, and the practice will continue until the conflict is resolved. Hence, fans will not be able to watch the matches inside the stadiums.
