3 bowlers who can replace Prasidh Krishna in Rajasthan Royals squad for IPL 2024

Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of entire IPL 2024 after quadriceps surgery.
The start of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) is scheduled for March 22. Not even ten days are left, and every franchise is making sure that all the players will start the preparation and there will be no injuries. However, some franchises are not that lucky and are going to miss a few key players. Veteran Indian pacer Mohammad Shami has been ruled out, and now Prasidh Krishna is another Indian pacer who is all set to miss the upcoming IPL.
The 28-year-old underwent quadriceps surgery on February 23 and will not be able to make it in time. Hence, he will miss the entire IPL for the Rajasthan Royals (RR), which will certainly be a big miss. However, RR need to find out his replacement now. Here, we will talk about three possible Indian seamers who can come in as Prasidh Krishna’s replacement for the IPL 2024.
Here are the three possible replacement for Prasidh Krishna in the IPL 2024
3. Siddharth Kaul:
Veteran Indian seamer Siddharth Kaul was released by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ahead of the IPL 2024 auction. He was with them for two seasons. However, the pacer couldn’t attract any buyers at the auction and went unsold, which was a surprise. He has been in the league since 2013 and has played for DC, SRH, and RCB. In 55 games, he has taken 58 wickets and can be a good partner for Trent Boult for RR. His slower ones and change-ups can be pretty handy at home for RR.
2. Sandeep Warrier
Another Indian pacer who comes with a good amount of experience is Sandeep Warrier. The 32-year-old is a leading pacer for Kerala at the domestic level and has been part of the IPL for Mumbai Indians (MI) and RCB. He has played only five IPL matches but has good experience at the domestic level. He can be a good choice if RR want an experienced Indian pacer to replace Prasidh Krishna who already knows how competitive playing in the IPL can be.
1. Kamlesh Nagarkoti
Prasidh Krishna was a hit-the-deck-hard bowler who used to bowl with good speed, and if RR are looking for similar skillsets, then there is no better than Kamlesh Nagarkoti. The 24-year-old has been in and out of the IPL, but mainly his injuries have kept him out. Now he is completely fit and was unfortunate to not get a deal at the auction. He was released by DC in 2023, and he also played for KKR before that. Nagarkoti can be someone who can do an excellent job, along with Boult.
