Arshdeep Singh won the Man of the Match award in the third IND vs WI T20I in Indore.
India and West Indies produced another thriller game in the third T20I at Holkar Stadium in Indore. It was another high-scoring clash; both teams scored 432 runs (Combined). After losing the toss, India were invited to bat first.
India got off to a strong start with a magnificent 108-run partnership between Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan in just 6.4 overs for the second wicket. In 8.1 overs, the hosts were at 115/1 but faltered in the second half of their innings.
Abhishek was brilliant again with an 18-ball fifty. He scored 69 off 30 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes. A few good cameos helped India to reach 223 in the first innings.
In the chase, West Indies suffered a big blow, as in-form captain Shai Hope was dismissed in the second over. Arshdeep Singh bowled him out, a moment that turned the tide of the match.

The target was huge, and the West Indies put up a tremendous fight, but they fell short by 14 runs (209/7) in the second innings. Arshdeep took 3/44 and dismissed Hope, Sherfane Rutherford, and Keemo Paul.
He was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance. With the bat, he also played a useful knock of 11 off 8 balls. After the game, the pacer spoke to bcci.tv and talked about his performance. He was also seen apologising to Axar Patel.
The pacer said, “I would like to apologise to Axar bhai. Sorry, Axar bhai. I got you run out.” Axar got run out on the first ball of the 19th over. He hit the ball to the point region and was ball-watching. Arshdeep didn’t look at the ball and kept running.
Axar had to run and was easily run out at the non-striker’s end. The all-rounder was run out for 20 off 14 balls. Meanwhile, Arshdeep also talked about the plans against Hope, who hit three centuries and one half-century in the last four innings.
He stated that the team devised a strategy against Hope, and it worked. Arshdeep delivered that crucial early breakthrough India desperately needed.
