Why are Glenn Phillips & Matt Henry not playing in ENG vs NZ 3rd Test?

Glenn Phillips and Matt Henry played in the 2nd Test.
The third test between England and New Zealand (ENG vs NZ) got underway on June 25 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The test series is tied 1-1 after the first two games, with the hosts winning the first clash by 115 runs and the Black Caps making a comeback in the second game.
Ben Stokes has returned to lead England in the final game after missing the previous clash. Along with Gus Atkinson, he was ruled out of the match for breaching the ECB’s code of conduct.
In the third test, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first. Notably, Glenn Phillips and Matt Henry are not part of the playing XI. They played in the previous game and executed a crucial job in the team’s victory.
Why are Glenn Phillips & Matt Henry absent from the ENG vs NZ 3rd Test?
Both Phillips and Henry were unavailable for the third test due to injuries. While Henry has sustained a calf injury, Phillips is recovering from a side strain.
On the other hand, Kyle Jamieson has been rested to manage his workload. Mitchell Santner, Ben Sears, and Blair Tickner have been picked as replacements.
Speaking at the toss about the changes in the playing XI, New Zealand captain Tom Latham said, “We’re going to have a bat. It looks a reasonably dry surface, so hopefully we can make use of it first up. Yeah, obviously a bit of a tale of changes throughout the series, but unfortunately Glenn Phillips and Matt Henry have been ruled out with some niggles, so Mitch Santner comes back in, Ben Sears and Blair Tickner come in for Kyle Jamieson, who’s sort of been rested through more workload”.
On Matt Henry’s absence from the game, he said, “Yeah, he is 9 a (big miss). I guess someone who brings a lot of experience, but I think also his skill and workload that he brings to our side. He’s a leader amongst the group, and unfortunately we’ll be missing him this week, but fingers crossed he can get himself right”.
New Zealand’s Playing XI vs England for 3rd Test: Tom Latham (C), Devon Conway, Henry Nicholls, Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Blundell (WK), Mitchell Santner, Nathan Smith, Blair Tickner, Ben Sears, William O’Rourke.
