With the home advantage, SRH eye their second victory of IPL 2026. Out of four games, they have won only one match and lost three. On the other hand, RR have won four games in a row.
RR captain Riyan Parag won the toss and opted to field first in the clash. They made two changes to their playing XI, benching Brijesh Sharma and Shimron Hetmyer. Tushar Deshpande and Lhuan-dre Pretorius replaced them in the encounter.
SRH also made two changes to their playing XI. Harshal Patel and Jaydev Unadkat were not part of the match. Both of them featured in the previous game against the Punjab Kings, where Unadkat played as an impact player.

Notably, Patel has been dropped for the match and replaced by Praful Hinge. However, Patel is one of the impact players named for the match. Unadkat featured in the last game as an impact player but has been overlooked against RR.

Unadkat featured in all four of SRH’s previous games. He picked four wickets but went wicketless in the last two matches.
Speaking at the toss, Ishan Kishan said, “We’ve got two changes from the last game, Hinge coming in. I think I’ve been doing this for a long time. I was a leader in Under-19 India, I’ve been doing it for my state team, and I think it makes you more aware of the situation, more focused on the game”.
