Indian Women and Australian Women are locking horns with each other in the series-decider third ODI in Delhi.

The Indian Women’s Cricket Team and Australian Women’s Cricket Team are locking horns with each other in the third game of the three-match ODI series. The game between the two teams is underway at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi on Saturday (September 20).

As the match got underway one thing that caught the attention of many was the kits of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side was seen donning the pink jerseys, which made many wonder why they were sporting new attire.

The reason behind that has been revealed. The Indian Women’s Cricket Team are wearing the pink jerseys to raise awareness for breast cancer. The jersey also has ‘thanks a dot’ printed on it.

Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur shared her take on the same, saying: “Every day we train for uncertainties, and this pink jersey is a reminder for you to be prepared. Let’s make breast self-examination a monthly routine.”

Coming to the match, the Australian side won the toss and opted to bat first. The ongoing game between the sides is a series decider with visitors winning the opening game and then hosts making a strong comeback in the second game in Chandigarh.

With competition between bat and ball being high, the ongoing series decider is expected to be enthralling. This will also be the last time that these two teams will be playing a game before the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, which will begin on 30th September.
