MS Dhoni has not played any games for CSK in IPL 2026 so far.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are clashing with Delhi Capitals (DC) in match 18 of the Indian Premier League 2026, which commenced on April 11 (Saturday) at Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Ruturaj Gaikwad & Co. have lost three games in a row and are still desperate for their first victory of the season.
They lost their previous games against the Rajasthan Royals, PBKS, and RCB. CSK languish in the last spot in the IPL 2026 points table.
On the other hand, the Delhi Capitals have won two out of three matches and lost one. They won their first two matches by six wickets each against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians. In their previous game, they lost by just one run in a close-fought clash against the Gujarat Titans (GT).
In the match 18 of IPL 2026, DC won the toss and opted to field first. MS Dhoni is still absent from CSK’s playing XI. He was also not part of the previous three games of the tournament.

Just ahead of the tournament, MS Dhoni suffered a calf injury in the pre-season training. As a result, he was ruled out of the initial games of the tournament.
