The Pakistan vs UAE match will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The Pakistan Cricket Team are scheduled to clash with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the 10th match of the Asia Cup 2025 on Wednesday, September 17. The encounter was scheduled to commence at 8 PM IST; however, it has been delayed by one hour.

Notably, Indian players refused to shake hands with Pakistan players during the clash between both sides on Sunday, September 14. Later, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) lodged a complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC) against India and also sought the removal of match referee Andy Pycroft for not taking action against Indian players.

PCB also threatened that they would boycott their clash against the UAE if the match referee wasn’t removed. However, ICC didn’t find Pycroft guilty in the matter and refused to take any action against him. As a result, Pakistan did not send their player to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on time.

However, as per the latest development, the Pakistan players have left their hotel, and the match will start soon. PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi informed on X (formerly Twitter) that the Pakistan team are on their way to the stadium.

Pakistan vs UAE match to begin at 9 PM IST

The Pakistan vs UAE encounter has been delayed by an hour. Hence, the match will start at 9 PM IST, which is 7:30 PM local time. The toss will take place at 8:30 PM IST (7 PM local time).

Notably, the clash is a knockout game as the winner of the match will book their berth in the Super Four round. India have qualified for the next round from Group A. They have four points in their kitty and take the top spot in the points table.

UAE and Pakistan have two points each and will play their last match of the group stage. Oman, with two defeats in two matches, have been eliminated with one more match left in the tournament.
