Jacks is capable of batting in multiple positions in the top order and has previously been utilised as an aggressive option during the powerplay. His off-spin provides a secondary bowling choice, particularly against left-handed batters, although he is not considered a frontline bowling option.
Leading up to the IPL 2026 season, Jacks was in splendid form, having won four Man of the Match awards for England in T20 World Cup 2026. He was set to play a huge role for MI, but is continued absence has left fans disappointed and searching for answers.
